I doubt you will remember me but some years back I took your tour of Ancient Shiloh with the Awesome Israel Tours group. I hope you are still giving those tours. As if it were yesterday I remember walking under the ancient arch leading to the Visitors Center. We hiked up the trail and went into the remains of the Byzantine church built on the site. We climbed the hill, passed by the stone oil press that has been there for over 3,500 years and still in perfect shape as if ready to make anointing oil again, went by the remnants of stone, Israelite homes from biblical times, the ritual baths that were hewn from the bedrock and finally the site where the Tabernacle stood. I remember you pointed to a ridge and to your house overlooking the site. You kept saying to drink the water that you brought along. I did, all along thinking it was because of the heat. Now I realize that was not the only reason. I don’t know what it is in the water from the springs at Shiloh. I may never know. What I do know is that trip was life changing and I am so thankful I had the opportunity. I can’t wait to come back but in the meanwhile thank you for making Tabernacle Water available.
